Andrew Lugsdin is a Co-Founder and Partner of Framework Venture Partners. Based in Vancouver, BC, Andrew has over 15 years of venture capital experience and over 25 years of experience in the IT and Telecom sectors.
Prior to Framework, Andrew was a Partner at the BDC IT Venture Fund and managed a number of portfolio companies through exits, including Layer 7 Technologies, QuickMobile, AppNeta, 3esi, Bycast, Colligo, Progressive Solutions, and TAP Solutions.
Andrew’s current investments include Cymax, Elastic Path, Foodee, Klue, Mobify, and Trulioo.
Before becoming a venture capitalist, Andrew was the founder and President of a consulting firm for early-stage high-tech companies, providing business planning and development services. Prior to that, he held roles as Vice President of Sales and Client Strategy at a Vancouver-based web services firm where he helped transform it into a Canadian leader and as a software engineer at Nortel Networks.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and in Computer Science from McGill University.
