Harris Hyman is a senior healthcare partner to Thomas H. Lee Partners. He brings over thirty years of healthcare services experience and has a demonstrated track record of actively working with management teams to help build industry-leading companies. Mr. Hyman has served on the Board of Directors of numerous public and private healthcare companies, including MedAssets, United BioSource, Summit Behavioral Health, Intermedix and EyeSouth Partners.
Prior to joining Thomas H. Lee Partners, Mr. Hyman founded Northwood Healthcare Partners, a healthcare private investment firm. Prior to founding Northwood, Mr. Hyman was a Managing Director at Flexpoint Ford, an industry focused private equity firm where he helped lead the firm’s healthcare investment activity. Previously, he was a Managing Director of Credit Suisse First Boston where he served as Co-Head of Healthcare Mergers and Acquisitions.
Mr. Hyman holds a B.S. in Engineering, magna cum laude, from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Mr. Hyman has been active on a number of not-for-profit boards, including Trout Unlimited, where he has served as Treasurer and a member of the Board of Trustees for over 10 years, and MedStar Health, a $4 billion health system.
