Tariq Adi

Tariq has been involved in all facets of real estate development from negotiating complex land acquisitions and assemblies, planning approvals, sales and marketing, debt syndication, private equity placement, construction and project close out. Pioneering a design forward architectural movement, he was in charge of growing the company from $10M in sales to currently over $1.9B in development in under 5 years. His achievements have been recognized by being named one of the 2019 Recipients of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40. More recently Adi Development Group was recognized by the Globe and Mail’s Report on Business as No. 10 on the list of Canada’s 400 Top Growing Companies. His day-to-day management activities involve business development, lender and investor liaison, project finance, overseeing development milestones and targets, new territory expansion, corporate strategy, construction, customer and investor relations. Tariq is actively involved with BILD (Building Industry and Land Development Association), as well as an active alumnus of Sheridan College’s Pilon School of Business, where he established the Adi Development Group Bursary for a deserving student in the Business Administration – Finance program. The company is an active community supporter, donating both time and finances, to organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Diabetes Canada, Ronald McDonald House and Halton Women’s Place.
